Hi Darling,

We all have a gift to give, a lesson to learn, and a debt to pay. It’s true! We come to this world and without recognizing what we are here for, we spend our time, sometimes a lifetime relearning the same lessons.

I have always felt, intuitively, there wasn’t enough time for me to make every mistake. I needed to learn from others who have gone before. I have, fortunately, avoided a lot of mistakes by having mentors who could show me a clearer path. However, I have also made mistakes and have learned from them.

My first husband always said, “There are two kinds of people in the world, givers and takers”.   He was a giver and so am I. But during my subsequent marriage, husband #2, I encountered a taker. I was truly unprepared for this, assuming if you love someone, they would behave in a certain way. It took me many years to really understand what the dynamic was that I was dealing with.

You see we make up stories, excuses and sometimes avoid seeing the truth. Eventually, we learn. Can we really fault the other person? They taught us an important lesson! Wake up, definitely smell the roses and take care of your sweet soul.
